Greek, sophism and Plato

Around fifth century BC sophism made its appearance in Athens. Plato was a big proponent of it.

Although, almost all of its writings were lost. It is Plato who made it known to us and it’s work.

The basic foundation of sophism is skepticism and questioning. It was primarily used for the education of the young.
